Pastor Kevin Warkentin - (403) 352-0611
Kevin grew up in Lethbridge, Alberta. He was raised in a Mennonite Christian home, and from a very young age his mother invited him to accept Jesus as his personal Friend and Saviour.
Kevin's walk with the Lord blossomed over the years and eventually led him on a rich journey of discovering beautiful Bible truths when a young Seventh-day Adventist buzzed his apartment in New Westminster, BC. This encounter was a direct answer to Kevin's prayer to God for a challenge.
A lover of deep study, Kevin discovered Bible truths in the Adventist church that he now holds dear—truths that paint a beautiful picture to him of God's love, character, and His plan for humanity's salvation and restoration.
Through a series of providential events, Kevin accepted the call to disciple and lead in the Fairview, Peace River and High Level church district, where he and his wife, Casey, have begun their ministry.
Kevin enjoys listening to audiobooks and composing classical music in his spare time. He would love the opportunity to meet with and get to know you as he grows in the knowledge and love of God!
Elder Rob Weich - (780) 219-4057
Rob grew up as a farm kid in Hanna, Alberta, where he learned to work hard, and finds much fulfillment in serving others. For 15 years prior to moving to the Peace Country, Rob volunteered with A Better World, a non profit organization that has invested nearly 36 million dollars for quality education, essential healthcare, and clean water in over 15 countries around the world.
By faith, Rob providentially purchased a little farm with his little family outside of Fairview about 10 years ag0. Currently Rob serves as Operations Supervisor with Alberta Health Services for the North Zone. Rob is greatly loved by his wife, Danielle and four children. Rob feels it a privilege to serve his church in this capacity. Rob enjoys waking a long while before day break to spend time with his best Friend, a practice absolutely necessary to maintain peace, humility and wisdom in all his roles as father, husband, coworker and friend.
Elder Teathloach (Tali) Guet - (587) 336-1153
Teathloach (we call him Tali) was raised by two God fearing parents, a middle boy of 5 sisters. Through a series of divine interventions, Tali's family was able to move to Alberta when Tali was a young boy. It was early discovered that Tali had a serious talent in the game of soccer. Though a sport he loves, he recognizes that his call was 'to serve and to protect'. Tali is stationed in Fairview and serves our community as our local RCMP. Tali married his sweetheart, Rebekah, and together have one boy, and another one on the way in November. It is a pleasure for Tali to serve both his community and his church.
